A practice, not a portal
Engineering here is a family trade with deep roots in Leeds. Since 1981 the practice has grown from local structural work into a team covering the full span of civil and structural design - but the way we work hasn’t changed: look properly, design practically, explain clearly, and stand behind the answer.
Most of our work still comes the old way - builders who’ve used us for years, architects who trust our calculations, homeowners sent by someone we helped before. The LABC Partnership Award on the shelf reflects the thing we care about most: designs that get approved and buildings that get built.
How we work today
The tools have moved on. Surveys arrive with drone imagery where scaffolding once was; clients follow their project through our online portal instead of chasing letters; and reports are turned around at the speed property transactions actually run. The engineering judgement underneath is the same as it’s been for four decades.
Every project - from a single beam calculation to a full development - gets a named engineer, a fixed quote, and an answer in plain English.
