Who we are

Paddick Engineering Limited (“Paddick Engineering”, “we”) is a civil and structural engineering practice based at The Old Coach House, Rear of Eastville Terrace, Ripon Road, Harrogate, HG1 3HJ. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

What we collect and why

  • Enquiry details - name, contact details, property address and project description submitted through our quote and contact forms. Used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you instruct us, to deliver the engineering work.
  • Client project data - held in our client systems when you engage us, retained as part of the professional project record.
  • Website analytics - aggregate usage statistics to understand how the site is used.

Legal basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest (replying to you) and pre-contractual steps; client data under contract; and statutory record-keeping under legal obligation.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with service providers who support our systems (for example hosting), and with parties involved in your project where you ask us to (for example your architect, builder or Building Control body).

Retention

Enquiries that don’t become projects are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Project records are retained in line with professional practice and insurance requirements.
