Snagging Reports

A snagging report is an independent inspection of a new-build property that documents defects - from cosmetic finishing issues to items that genuinely matter - so you can put a clear, evidenced list to your developer while they're still obliged to fix it.

What we inspect

We work through the property methodically - externally and internally - and record every defect with a photograph and location. Because the inspection is carried out within an engineering practice, structural observations (cracking, deflection, poor detailing) are assessed with an engineer's eye, not just noted.

When to book

The ideal time is between build completion and your legal completion, so the developer fixes defects before you move in. If you've already moved in, a snagging report within the first two years supports claims under your new-home warranty. We confirm availability and timescale when you enquire.
